Increase safety near pools, ponds, lakes or even the sea

An automatic alarm system which is attached to the body by a lockable wristband. BandAlarm Aqua is designed to offer protection when there is a risk of falling into water when unsupervised. It is primarily designed for children and weak or non swimmers but can also be used for the disabled, elderly people or even pets.

BandAlarm Aqua is not just for those who have swimming pools; in 2002 13 people in the UK died in garden ponds*, sadly those nearby must have been unaware what was happening just outside in the garden.

BandAlarm Aqua can be used in remote locations such as by rivers or lakes as it operates on rechargeable batteries and multiple wrist bands can be used simultaneously with one base station when there are groups of children.

During holidays BandAlarm Aqua can also be taken away, if the hotel has a nearby pool or is very close to the beach the base station could be placed in the appartment, or taken down to the pool, and if a child enters the pool or sea when unsupervised the alarm will sound. It is very easy when parents are sunbathing for a child to wander off. BandAlarm Aqua is not a substitute for parental supervision but can allow a more relaxing holiday.

  
 
BandAlarm Aqua complies to CE regulations and uses wireless radio techonology to transmit a signal from the wristband to the base station if it is submerged in water. The base station has a loud 100db alarm and operates from a rechargeable 9v battery or using the supplied mains adaptor.
