Tragically approximately 400,000 people drown every year* (this
is an average of 1 every 79 seconds) and it is SPSC's mission to try and help lower this number.
Our management team has over 40 years experience in the aquatic safety technology and
leisure management fields and we are able to provide professional, friendly advice on all aspects of our products and services.
A new European Standard regarding the safety of swimming pools was introduced in March 2009: EN 15288
"Swimming Pools".
The standard consists of two parts:
part 1: "Safety Requirements for Design"
part 2: "Safety Requirements for Operation".
The new standard includes a recommendation to investigate the use of drowning detection and
prevention systems in swimming pools, including our PoolView System
